Im downloading Gta-v through the Rockstar social club launcher,at first it downloaded quite fast (10mb speed) and when it reached to about 50g it started to slow down to 40kb. any solution to make it download faster ?
You're probably running into that bad thing called "server load". There isn't much to be done, except wait. If it's anything like Steam, it will go faster and slower as it downloads.
Just as an aside, how does one download the actual game from the Social Club. I thought it was sold through Steam, or Rockstar itself?
The Rockstar Games Warehouse version uses the Rockstar Social Club Launcher to download the game files and updates. I have "commandline.txt" in my game directory with "-noChunkedDownload" in.
How to Resolve Issues Downloading Patches for GTAV on PC – Rockstar SupportFor the standalone, Rockstar Warehouse version:
Hit "Start", "Run", and type "cmd" without the quotes. Hit enter.
Type "cd c:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto V" without the quotes in the cmd window that pops up. If you installed GTAV in a different directory, be sure to type in that directory instead. Hit enter.
Type "GTAVLauncher.exe -verify -noChunkedDownload" in this window (no quotes again) and hit enter.
This allows the Social Club launcher to download the patch all at once instead of in chunks, which is known to fix downloading issues for certain connection types.
