A flickering screen in games

Hello,
I have a problem with games in my desktop pc.
This is my pc details:
  • Windows 10
  • AMD Radeon R9 200 series display card

The problem is when i enter to games like fifa 17, call of duty, nba2k15 etc...
after 5 minutes i cant see anything in the game, all pixels are blurred and characters are smeared.

I record a video from fifa 17 yesterday to illustrate the problem:

Check that the GPU fan isn't on "Auto". My R9 280 is notorious for overheating if I leave the fan at "Auto", and I get the same problem that you are having.

I go into Radeon Settings and set my fan manually to 65% and all is well. No problems at all. The problem is when the fan is set at "Auto" it never spins fast enough to adequately cool the card, and then you have issues. AMD borked the fan setting a few driver updates ago, now the driver won't remember that you have set the fan to manually between reboots, so you will either have to set the fan speed after every reboot, or you can make a profile for each game you play where you have set the fan speed to 65%. That's what I wound up doing. Once you do that, each time you play the game, the profile kicks in and runs the fan at your manual speed setting. When you are finished playing the game, the fan goes back to "Auto".

Weird, I know, but that's how they do it.
