Not sure I'll be getting BF3. Will wait and see and it turns out.

I know alot love it, and dont get me wrong here ... it was a good game.
I did enjoy the single player portion , while it lasted.

But my problem is I just can't quite get into a MP FPS. I get tired of it quickly. Probably because I stink at them, and end up getting spawn camped ... which is no fun IMO.
At least that was the case with BF2.

So Im guessing 3 would end up the same for me

Maybe after the price comes down a bit...
    +1

Never cared for the MP parts of an FPS, but usually do buy the games for SP and maybe some LAN fun :)

Crysis 2 with latest update and dx11. So much better now. After a little OC'ing I was able to crank up the settings and get a smooth consistent frame rate. And the gfx are amazing.

are you confusing BF2 with BFBC2?...as BF2 doesn't have a single player campaign.

if so, it's easily done. BF2 is battlefield 2, BFBC2 is battlefield bad company 2.

the main difference in multiplayer is the size of the maps - most of the BF2 maps are huge 64 player - so big you can fly jets around in them. it would take all of two or three seconds to fly a jet over most of the BC2 maps.

there are other differences too, which i won't go into here, but they are both primarily mp fps's, so your 'dislike' of one extends to the other too.

    Ah yes. Sorry about that.
When I said BF2, I did mean Bad Company.

Yeah It really is a good DLC. I know DA 2 got knocked down a bit but overall it's not that bad a game.

Just finished Homefront and it was a good game with some strong shooting but the single player campaign was way too short and encountered few bugs along the way.

I just bought the Humble Indie Bundle #3. you get like 6 games and you pay what you want. the money can go towards charity, the developers or you can choose specific amounts for both. Some that i thought was cool, is that if you pay above the average amount, you get the Humble Indie Bundle #2 for free!!! you can also redeem your bundles on Steam!!! for you steam lovers! you guys should check it out.
