    I'm currently playing:

    Baldur's Gate II
    Oblivion (with Qual's texture pack)
    Stalker: Clear Sky
Counter Strike: Source (after a few pints )

I fancied getting Dragon Age... until I read that lots of people had a lot of problems with it. Apparently it won't install properly. So many of you are playing it here though so I have some questions...

1). How's the AI path finding? Do your party members follow you with no problems?

2). What is the party member customisation scripting like? Can I script my fighter to attack the enemy with the lowest HP for example?

3). How deep is the character customisation?
    1. I have had no issues with characters following me...it has been very fluid

    2. I haven't gotten into the tactics sub menu much but I believe you can indeed set a character to attack and do other things with certain conditions

    3. As far as character customization...you design your main character's details like other RPGs of the same genre...ex. you design their face and such... You have multiple types of species to choose from (human, elf, etc), classes (mage, knight, etc) and specialized classes beyond that (Blood Mage, Templar, etc.). You have abilities at level up to learn and the list goes on and on...

It is a great game...I recommend it to all avid RPG fans...especially fans of NWM2

I am playing, Mirror's Edge, Wolfenstein, Dragon Age Origins and still play Freelancer online.

I am waiting for Mass Effect 2 and Star Wars: The Old Republic

@Okran, Dragon Age installs fine, I have had zero problems with it and I recommend this game it rules.

    Great questions:

    1) The AI pathfinding has been exceptional for the most part. On occasion I will hold the position of my 3 followers and move my main character around solo for a bit, then after selecting to move in unison again my party won't follow. But it is easily fixed by just selecting them all to group up at some location. After doing that, they seem to follow again no problem. It's a very minor issue, I assure you. I also imagine that Bioware will patch it.

    2) Party member customizing? Yes, the tactics options are great. I will say that I have experienced some issues with this. For example, I have set Alistair (one of my tanks) to attack the nearest enemy, but one several occasions he stands there idling. The options for tactics are extensive to say the least.

    3) I did not find character customization to be very deep. The ability to change his appearance was sufficient, but nothing to write home about. As far as setting up their initial points, it was weak.

Also, I have had zero install issues with the game. I'm running Windiows 7 Ultimate x64. I have installed twice after a recent reformat. No issues on either occasion.

Believe me when I say this, I found the game to start off real slow, but once it picked up, the game was really exciting. I actually just beat it last night and I am beginning a second run through. My first go I went as a tanking human-warrior. I'm starting an Elf Mage this go around.

I started as a mage...I always find warriors boring

The mage class has been exceptionally fun and very powerful. Having a mage specialize in Spirit Healer and Arcane Warrior/Blood Mage is a force to be reckoned with

Many, many thanks to Stabgotham and Zidane24 for your time to inform me with your experiences of DA:O.

Think I'll purchase it soon then, when I finish decorating the front room - otherwise it'll never get done

Currently playing Company of Heroes: ToV and have been for quite a while, such a great game!

Also playing CoD WaW and Crysis.

Fantastic to see people still playing F.E.A.R. The first instalment in that "franchise" was fantastic!

Unfortunately installing more than 3 'newish' games means using more than 80Gb of HDD space. That's totally ok i fyou're using regular 3.5" SATA drives but if you want to use SSD drives you're up for some real money!
