Oh, btw.... you can import your character from Dragon Age Origins. Didn't know that till after I chose my character and got ready for game play, you're then presented with a few options on how you want to proceed in DA2 and one of the options is to import your character from DA:O. Once you do that you're told that the decisions you made in DA:O will have an impact in DA 2. You still start out from level 1 though.
Thanks for the tip! Good to know!

Oblivion is so awesome. :) Have it for the PS3, kinda wish I would've bought it for the PC, but it's all good. :) Got the GOTY edition and it's really cool.

Dragon Age 2 is looking pretty good thus far. Also haven't had any major performance issues yet. I do however get the occasional screen tearing though, but it's not too bad. And this is with "very high" settings using DX11.

With that said the graphics look a lot better than what the demo showed. Yeah you still have those drab areas, but where there is color and detail, they shine through. I'm sure running in DX11 with the high res texture pack has a lot to do with it. It does look good though.

One issue I do have with the game though is the voice sounds. It sounds like the characters are detached from their bodies when they speak. It's almost as though they're in an echo chamber. It sounds weird. This is definitely something that needs to be fixed/patched!

Anyways good game thus far. One thing they did improve on is combat style - it a little more dramatic, and decisive.

    That's it for now :)

Definitely. The demo was but a snippet of the game. I'm really enjoying it now. Also the high res texture pack helps the graphics, especially if you have a DX11 card.

BTW you can use use the texture pack with DX10 cards, you just don't get the DX11 glory..... though I don't know what you'd be missing.

Anway, yeah it turning out to be pretty good thus far.

As a side note I was thinking of creating my own thread for the game but I hadn't seen many here playing the game. The only people I've seen interested thus far is you and boogieboy. What do you think?

    Thanks.
