Recently finished Black Ops. Loved the story, hated the lags and the bugs, tried most of the fixes, tried the patch, Windows Firewall died without hope of revival, reinstalled Win7 (again >_<) and am now playing Just Cause 2... Srsly, the best friggin' sandbox ever.

Thanks, but didnt help. Even lowering the res as Skulbaka suggested didnt help.

I ended up completely uninstalling & deleting the game.

    The had STEAM Re-Download it.

Whatever was wrong its fixed now. Its running and looking perfectly fine.

I kept the default settings @ Normal as suggested.
But I did change my resolution to 1080 though, so far so good. may need to lower it later though.

    Was wierd before.
It looked like a game does when you're getting over 100FPS, and when you turn you can just see the image rip & tear in places.
Yet at the same time, it was laggy at times too, as if struggling to render.

Not sure what it was, but glad the re-install fixed it :)

Now off to play some. Looks like a good game thus far.

Strange, I never had any tearing, maybe it's the card or something, I don't know exactly.
