I've just finished Prince of Persia - The Forgotten Sands. Story was OK, combat was meh, but the platforming, visuals and general feeling was simply great. I enjoyed the Sands of Time style views, the palace looked great :) Combat got pretty dull, with only 1 button to use in any given situation: left click. Any enemy that wasn't impressed by left clicking on it could have been easily killed by the ice or blast powers. I thought Ubisoft would have gotten the idea, we all liked Sands of Time for the amazing views and good story, but also loved the Warrior Within combat. 1+1 = money, so why not?

Without giving out any spoilers, the ending was unimpressive, easily predictable with no real surprises anywhere. Still, every single bit of platforming was beautifully done and incredibly fun. It had me glued to the chair for quite a bit. I'd recommend it to anyone who liked any other PoP game.

    Any cod'ers here?
Just picked up CoD 4 about a week ago. Plays great, campaign was a little short. Getting my snot kicked a bit on multiplayer but never having played the game before a 1-4.5 ratio isn't terrible.
There are a suprisingly decent amount of servers still hosting maps - matches. Although with any fps game like this after a few years you wind up with seasoned or hard core players and newer guys getting `naded to death, oh well it's still fun.
And I like how tons of prestige players camp and set claymores - so I swipe their damn flag, hope they like me now.

Everyone's surprised. It's story always leaves your mind tormented with so many questions as what's next...

just been playing a bit of bfbc2:vietnam - lots of fun!

a bunch of new maps and weapons. most of the guns only have iron sights, only the snipers get scopes, so it's more close quarter stuff - oh and there are flamethrowers too!

All this fuss about games seems so sad to me. My sons step son has now moved out of the house and gone to live with his father, because his mother wanted him to spend less time on these games. The moment he gets out of bed in the morning his thumbs are going non stop. Likewise as soon as he gets home from school. Total addiction.

I play crown green bowls in the summer, and one of our team is twelve years old, he also plays cricket. In the winter he plays football. He is very slim, lively and intelligent. His younger brother is a fat little slob, who's thumbs are also going non stop. His mother who is also a first rate bowler brings them both to the green. The young one just sits in the club house with his game, never watches or wants to join in. He too is totally addicted.

For heavens sake why don't some of you get a life, and do away with these games? Most of them just involve killing, killing and yet more killing. What a state of mind to get into.
