I am reluctant to think about how many hours i spent in that game, let alone how many you could spend in it..

I'm playing Dragon Age 2 now. It's too early to call it but one thing I will say is the graphics look a lot better (than the demo) with the texture pack. It is however recommended that you have a DX11 card to fully enjoy those textures.

You can get the texture pack here - Choose Language | BioWare Social Network. It's a little over a gig.

Oh, btw.... you can import your character from Dragon Age Origins. Didn't know that till after I chose my character and got ready for game play, you're then presented with a few options on how you want to proceed in DA2 and one of the options is to import your character from DA:O. Once you do that you're told that the decisions you made in DA:O will have an impact in DA 2. You still start out from level 1 though.

Anyway it's too early to know what's going on as I've barely begun to get into the game, though I did rather quickly get to a level 4 rogue. The game looks promising though.

    That's it for now

Yeah the game is looking and playing pretty good thus far with the texture pack though I do have to occaisonal tearing though. I'll have to check that v-sync is working. I have my in-game video settings maxed.

BTW I was able to get my character in DA2 remarkably close to the way he looked in DA:O, even down to the tatoo

WOW man that sound's promising... thumbs up for the Bioware also i have'nt played The Witcher EE (DC) yet too bad... i was thinking to upgrade to a DX11 card but due to my current CPU ... it'll just bottleneck everything that is over a GTS 450 i need at least a Quad Core
