    Wishmaster-

If you can give a quick review on the graphics used and gameplay, i would like to know if it's worth buying.

If you are not familiar with the gameplay in the series it might not be to your liking. but to a fan like me its a must buy. the graphics are a step up imo, the voice acting and the characters are all new and impressive. id love to play more and give an indepth analysis but i gotta head of to work in a couple of hours

Oh, well i played the verry first one, but i didn't like the story line and I got bored of it after a few hours...but i luv rpg's, my most favorout games if I had to name 10, then atleast 8 would be rpg set in midle age time, so skyrem seemed to be something i would enjoy, but since i plan to use my money on NFS the Run, the new Assasins creed and the new Batman, I wan't to make shore it's worth the costs hehe, so when someone has time to maybe ad some review based mostly on the graphics...dx 11 and so on, i would apreciate it. Thanx

I'm hoping to get skyrim in a few mins (sneaking out of work to my local game shop.. However they charged me £37 for bf3 which is very pricey!)

I wasn't a huge fan of oblivian, and I didn't play a lot of fallout 3, but hopefully I can force myself to get into skyrim as I know all elder scrolls games are amazing, I just need to deviate myself away from fps's

    I would agree with vierasniper.

If you like the Elderscroll games, Skyrim is a must have.
If you do not like them, or the open world RPG style of play they have ... well .. you may not be that impressed.
I love the combat system so far too. :)

Although Im not really that far into the game yet, about 4hrs or so, I can see this game being a huge time sink.

I mean, I haven't really done much of anything in terms of main quest.
Mostly just wander around exploring, went into some mines, harvested a bunch of plants and mined some ore. (still havent got to crafting yet)
Killed somes wolves, bandits, and .... a bunny rabbit

From what Ive seen so far, the game really is excellent.
But, In all fairness Im not far enough in to get a good idea. But my initial impression is that it look very pretty, runs very well, and is a lot of fun.
No crashes, freezes, or stuttering thus far.

    In regards to performance:
With my system, it determined High Settings was appropriate @ 1080P and x8AA x8AF.
I left it at its recommended settings, with the exception of going to x4AA and x16 AF. No performance issues thus far. And best of all, no engine stutter that Ive encountered just yet as was in Oblivion.

I did find it odd, my GPU only runs at about 50% use, and my Quad Core CPu is showing approx 75% use across all 4 cores evenly.

According to eVGA Precision ingame, it says its rendering in DX9.

I keep forgetting to take screenshots, but here a couple:

Bioshock 3 is gonna suck at gameplay, despite the amazing visuals we saw in the trailer(s)

Diablo 3 ain't gonna be released until next year, so that's kinda far away.
My cash will go out for Skyrim and Saints Row the Third
Why you say that for Bioshock 3? :)

I hope your wrong though,is on my top 5 list.

Just picked up my copy of Skyrim at my local military exchange store and got this special Veterans Day coin with the game.

I guess that since the game was released on Veterans Day they decided to send these out to the military exchange stores to give out. Nice touch Bethesda :)

Now I'm off to load up the game and give it a whirl. Can't wait.
