    corrupted colour scheme in old games


    i have this problem from a long time with age of empire 2, swarm assault and road rush, weird rainbow colours everywhere, i've tried to everything i cloud (compatibility mode, run as administrator) no one of those worked, any help will be appreciate not just me but others who are facing this problem too

    W/o the system specs it will be hard to help but I would start by looking into updating your video and audio drivers to see if that helps. I would also try to disable anything working on the background that does not need to be working when you are trying to play the game... msn, facebook, tweeter, adobe, etc, etc.

    its nothing special really :
    intel core i5-m480 2.7GHZ
    intel hd graphics

    i don't left anything open when i open any of those games

    Intel hd graphics is for your standard internet browsing youtube video watching but I don't know if its capable of playing any decent game, even if its old.

    i aware of that, that why i play old games (mostly on emulator) but i really want to play those old games.

    As an off the wall, long ago senior memory, the same happened to me when I tried Diablo (original) after re-installing OS as 64bit. May not be the reason but I think all was good upto that time.
