Is there a better driver for this generic gamepad?

USB Wired Gamepad Dual Shock Joypads PC Game Controller Computer Notebook Laptop | eBay

I had bought this, and to be honest I love it as it works perfectly (except in Sonic Generations, which is basically crap. And that's the game that I bought the controller specifically for).

My problem is: I don't know where to get drivers for it. The driver CD that came with it works perfectly (it was actually a universal driver disk, but the one titled "PSII & USB Conversion Driver" works), but I'm worried that if I lose the disk and have to reinstall (or connect to a new computer), I'll be hooped. There's absolutely NO branding (my version has the USB logo where the eBay one says VINYSON) and it came with no documentation.

So, does anyone know of a good easy-to-find driver source? Or do i just have to make back ups of the disk?

On an unrelated note: Whatever happened to Chinese products? They used to be cheap crap, but now they work perfectly!

To be on the safe side I would just make a copy of the disk on to a usb drive and have a backup online like say dropbox. I wouldn't know were to find the drivers, usually when i search for drivers i just google it or go to the manufactures site but like you said no branding.

This'll help for games that REQUIRE the XBOX controller to work (like sonic). As soon as I can figure out hw to install t.

Does the generic windows gamepad driver not work? I have never had to install anything for any game pad.

    Didn't seem to work.

Then again, that was on Sonic Generations which needed x360ce anyways. Just tried it on a Windows 7 compute and it works fine

DISCLAIMER: I know this is an old thread - my response is for the people who land on this page via a search engine.

If you are looking for this driver, search for "twin usb vibration gamepad (bm)" or check out Dropbox - (THIS IS FOR VINYSON CONTROLLERS) 0555_Twin_USB_Vibration_Gamepad_V03.exe
