Football Manager (soccer) gives my PC a yellow card

Do we have any Football Manager enthusiasts here? I need your input plz.

Soccer is the 'world game' and so that's a lot of national competitions and player databases to load up unless you restrict the countries.

When skimming through forums seems people have no problem with the big databases. But my PC doesn't like taking on too many leagues.

I've just reloaded Win 7 on a 500 HDD 'c-drive' clean and non cluttered. Are my specs 'poor'?

    Hey,

Always great to see a fellow FM player!

The general consensus is to setup your game so that the game speed star rating is acceptable......if you look around various forums there is plenty of information on how people set up the games and what countries are best for scouting etc....

Your CPU and RAM will obviously determine how fast you can run the processing side of the game...

In the meantime....take a look at this which should help for most versions of the game:

Heres how you can dramatically speed up Football Manager [INSTANTLY]

Nice to see some football manager fans :)

I've never had any issues running manager games. All depends on your system. If i was to play this on my laptop, i would go with a small database.

    Nice link mcbgun
