    ghostbusters remastered taskbar problem

my taskbar won't disappear while the game is running. i'm using windows 7. i even tried a fresh install of 7 and it's still doing the same thing. this is the only game that it is happening with. it does seem to fix it when i change from window aero to windows basic color scheme. please help.

Are we talking about only the Notifications section in the lower right corner?
Are we talking about only the long grey bar containing all the Pin To Taskbar icons?
    Or both?
Exactly what happens when taskbar disappears?

i'm talking about the entire taskbar. it does not change unless i have the desktop in basic mode(instead of aero) then it just disappears as it normally would when something is opened in full screen.

i seem to have fixed it. i checked for windows updates a few times and found a couple. i also set the game to windows vista sp3 compatability mode and disabled high dpi settings in the properties for the game .exe. i mark this as solved. hopefully others will find this useful.
