Videos not recording, nor screenshots in game

Hello all, looking for some help :)

About a year or so ago I had no issues making gameplay videos of mechwarrior3, an old game requiring dgvoodoo in order to run properly on most windows 7 machines. I was using Bandicam, and the videos were coming out great. Then, almost a year later I tried to do some streaming for the first time. Tried numerous settings on several streaming programs, twitch, OBS, just to name a couple...and none would work. I then tried bandicam again and no joy. What happens is, the sound records fine, the screen records my booting the game on my desktop, then when the game comes in it goes to a grey screen, with all the game sounds. Screenshots in game will not work either. I am stumped. Could there have been a windows 7 update that did this? Dgvoodoo is a directx emulator which helps solve many issues older games have with modern OS and graphics cards.

My machine is a refurbished dell optiplex 7010 decent mb/ram with integrated graphics, I have no other issues with the game using this setup. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Under Sources, is Game Capture part of a source?

If you go above to Tools, select Auto-Configuration Wizard.

If you go to Help you can save the logfile.

Your best bet may be the OBS forum. Help | OBS
