Can I play default internet windows 7 games offline?

my life is boring without PC games. :)) i want to know PC games for free ( i demand an OFFLINE GAME). please give me a list of nice OFFLINE GAMES that are downloadable from the net. AND IF POSSIBLE, PLEASE PROVIDE ME A LINK OF THESE GAMES. THANKS.

this is some bullshit, i can't believe i need to be connected to PSN to play my game. anyone else with PS3 have this issue? the game is star ocean 4 btw. not buying another game that requires you to be connected to play.

Right got a major problem done speed test and they come out fine to me but as soon as i go online on a game my pings jumping around like mad and its just unplay able. Ive rang o2 up so many times this week its unbelivable they've changed me to a static ip, and changed all sorts yet no improvement...

I'll try keep this as simple as possible. Basically we have a two-machine LAN (all fully working, both show up in the network browser, no internet connection sharing is enabled, file sharing fully working, pingable etc with static IP addresses), and when we start one machine running a LAN game...
