    Help Installing Games

    Hi All,

Looking for some help installing some games that worked fine on XP, but can't get them working on Windows 7 64bit.

Read on this forum that Hitman Blood Money works on Windows 7 (64bit), im quite a big fan of these games, and I'm unable to run Blood Money.
It seems to install fine. As soon as I start the application, a windows error comes up saying that "HitmanBloodMoney.exe" has stopped working.

    Tried running without Compatibility Mode.
    Running in XP SP1/2/3
    All get same issue.

Have most up-to-date Windows 7 drivers Graphics drivers.

Can't think what the problem can be!!!

How have other people got the game working?

Just for the sake of it, tried some other games. Most Crash in some form or another when Windows 7 tries to load it.

Some random old game has decided to work.
It's called: "Republic - The Revolution".
Running in exactly the same setup as now.

Going to try and install FSX. I hope this game works or the PC is going out the window!! I hope it's something really simple I've missed.

    Thanks in Advance.

Game is patched. Running as Administrator.

Just to test. I have installed:
    FSX
    OP Flashpoint 2
    Sims3

All working fine. Not even using compatibility mode.

    Yeah, I saw that Crispy.

I was working off advice from the Game Compatibility Thread in this forum. Must not be accurate then.

I know this doesn't really solve anything but you can buy the Steam version for £5.99 ATM, that'll work on any version of Windows.

Reason why it's called "Windows": When you get pissed at the OS, you want to throw it out your window.
