    mass effect problem

    guys i play masss effect for some time on my pc and it runs perfectly for and hour or so without any problems but after an hour or so it stops and windows cursor appears in the game leading to helding of game and i get this error as shown in pic
    plz help ireally want to play this game

    specs
    d930 at 3ghz
    2gb ram 557mhz
    500gb+200 hdd
    8600gts
    game runs smoothly without any lags but after an hour it just get stuck then when i restart it goes for another hour and again held no matter what actions im performing.
    cpu and gpu temps remain normal below 65c (cpuz and gpuz)
    is it a bug or something

    Is that tho only game experiencing this issue? If it is, have you tried patching it to the newest version?

    It seems the newest one is 1.02

    thnx mate ill try it on my game
    yes its the only game
    everyother game is hot and running good
    crysis shift mercenaries god father2 hawx gta 4 farcry 2 no problems each played for 5 hours straight on same setup and same conditions without any problems of heating or helding as withthis game.

    If you have the pirated version of ME then that's the problem, some of the pirated versions of ME have corrupted files, try getting the "proper.reloaded" version which also includes the DLC. Also don't forget to install the 2 official patches and use the proper crack from GCW..

    All I can say is I play a legal version, bought it for $5 from direct2drive, and I have no problems with it.

hey, i have a small problem whit running mass effect now the problem is, when i want to start the game it opens the settings screen (first time i'm playing it) and then it stops working (while searching 4 settings) i have w7, latest drivers, and i have reinstalled/ rebooted my pc any1 knows...

I'm sorry if this has been answered, if it has please point me in that direction since i've spent the last hour trying to find that answer. I've just installed mass effect 1, installed the new patch 1.02 and Bring down the sky, yet when i pull up ME and tell it to play, the mouse will turn to...
just tested Mass Effect with Bring down the sky dlc on my x64 win 7 machine and for some reason the loading of the game at the start takes way too long...and if I alt Tab out and get back into it the screen is black for like 3 mins b4 returning to the game...is there a solution to this?. I...
