    Resident evil 5 save game

    Hi all

I just reformatted my PC i was trying to restore my saved game for resident evil 5. I have backed up my saved game that is located in libraries/document/capcom. Im just using and windows live offline account.

Can I still restore it? or am I screwed?

    anyone?

    Thanks in advance.

I'm pretty sure you can still save it. If you copy-paste the files to the current spot where you took them from?
    Ok, that was not clear.
If you take the files you backuped, and put them in the folder that you took them from, on this new OS.
    Ahh, that was also unclear.
Well, post if you need more help.

    Thanks man

yup I tried that one and when I started the game it said the file seems to be damaged and it cannot be loaded, but i'm sure that the file is not damaged. Also when I started the game it asked me for a new live account. Is the live account and save game linked? I think they are. sigh Im still a newbie in this windows live games.

yes tried that one also. Most of the search goes to the torrent or hack saved games.
