how to i turn on safe mode ? or compatibility .. ?
If you right click on the installer icon, you should be able to choose run as administrator, or compatibility settings. Safe-mode you need to press f8 while windows is starting it should bring up a menu where you can choose to launch in safe-mode.
"When the computer starts you will see your computer's hardware being listed. When you see this information start to gently tap the F8 key on your keyboard repeatedly until you are presented with the Windows 7 Advanced Boot Options screen as shown in the image below."
Edit:
I just found your other topic for this... When you try to install, I am guessing you are presented with some kind of launcher, which shows the options, play install etc,... If you browse to the cd in your my computer, can you locate a separate installer application on the cd somewhere. The launcher is probably a separate program and I guess it thinks you have Batman installed, if you can find the installer executable you probably should be able to run it directly.
i tried to find the installer manually ,
didn't find it ..
when i right click there isn't any run as administrator or compatibility setting ..
What does the directory structure on the disc look like? Since I got my copy on Steam I have no idea what the installation process is like off the disc.
you can choose .. Install game , Install DirectX , Play Game , Game setup and Quit .
before that u can choose the language . i can press anything except the Install game .

Best thing would be to clean all registry entries pertaining to the game.
- Click the Start Orb.
- Type regedit in the "Search programs and files" box then hit Return.
- Once the Registry Editor is onscreen, hit Ctrl-F to get a search box and then search for Batman.
- Every time it finds something with Batman in it, delete it, then hit F3 to search for the next mention, and keep going until you have deleted all of them.
- You could also try searching for Eidos if it is the only Eidos game on your computer, and do the same thing.
- Once all traces of Batman and/or Eidos are removed, close the Registry Editor.
- Try installing the game again.
- Good luck!

Some other questions:
Attachment 44751
It sounds like that first aborted installation has triggered the setup into to believing it's already installed.
Some folders to remove:
C:\Program Files\Eidos\Batman Arkham Asylum
C:\Users\*YOURNAME*\Documents\Eidos\Batman Arkham Asylum
REGISTRY:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Eidos Interactive Limited
(I use x64, so search for Eidos)
Also uninstall physx and GFWlive from programs and features
