I do agree,
It is mainly your video card.
You have a horrible video card.
"Graphics
• Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 950 with 8MB-64MB dynamically
allocated shared graphics memory"

So at most you will have 64MB of available video memory.

The satellite 100 series is not a gaming computer. On any level. While some newer games may work others wont. Bioshock gave me a hard time and look like someone painted it with dog !!!! on my 128 MB video card. I know this is not what you really wanted to hear .

The Satellite's main use is to be a mobile workstation. A cheap production Pc. I have a Satallite 300a and it plays CSS on all low decently but it also has an ati 3460 graphics card.

The easiest fix would be if you recently bought it. Take it back, return it, put the money towards a better laptop.

It was actually a gift from two years ago from my grandpa. : / I didn't think it was that good anyways. I wish I could go and turn it in but I'm afraid the most I'd get for it is like 75 bucks, lol.

I would stick to older games, or newer low end games.
I bet it would still kick butt at CS, some age of empires 3, etc.
Dont forget the classics, such as Doom and Wolfenstine

lol, the only reason i bought the games any ways is because i don't have a nextgen console yet. But thats about to change so meh. What I'm really pissed at is that i can't return the games cuz they're computer games.

You can always sell them to a friend, you wont get full value for them, but you will get some form of compensation.

Erm, so did I? Lol. Apparently stores can't take a trade in of a computer game, and I have no one I know that plays computer games. : (
