Had all kinds of problems with Windows Live,and GFW(Halo2). Ended up having to
reinstall windows 7 for an unrelated reason and haven't had a problem since.
I just got my computer reinstalled recently, and i really can't be arsed to do it again. there has to be another solution.

I agree. How about trying to remove some RAM? I know its a long shot, but take out say, 6 gigs, and reinstall GFWL and all the games, and check if they work.
