    Problem taking screenshots in games

I Installed Windows 7 around a month ago and have since then not been able to take screenshots ingame. I have been using Gadwin and before the Windows 7 install I had no problems. I used Vista before. Today I tried Snagit to see if it was just Gadwin but the problem is still there. The problem is: either black screenshots or screenshots of the windows I have in the background like the desktop or Firefox. Doesn't matter what game I play. Why is this and what can be done about it?

You can't capture some game screenshots if they're rendered a certain way, that's my understanding of the situation - however I'm not a gamer, and don't know the technical reasons behind it

Introducing, a tool from 2002. If it's on the screen it's be easy.

    Screenshot and Upload using MWSnap

Btw, the games windows can be resize/minimused etc right?

Well, for shareware I'm using Fraps without problem, fullscreen or windowed. But didn't know any freeware for this.

Theese are games that was fine to screenshot with Vista, like WOW. Is this something new with Windows 7?

Not sure what you mean, but I play in fullscreen and can alt-tabbing them with no problem.

personally none of these options are any use to me due to different issues

fraps works the best ingame sometimes but also initiates elevation prompt so it's a pain and it's buggy with win seven losing it's screenshot button allocation.

and none of the the other options are any use as I always play fullscreen and need to screenshot with a single button push and no prompt to save.

If the snip utility would screengrab with a button push and autosave to a specified directory with no prompts then it would be perfect

Same here, I don't want to "snap" anything, I want to be able to take a shot of the screen with a simple press of a key and make the pic autosaved, but this isn't working with games since I installed W7.
