    System error sound while gaming

I experienced a Systemerrorsound while gaming (this "ping" that occours if you press to much buttons at the same time, we all know and love^^). In Games like Borderlands or Assasins Creed after a short period it starts alway to do that damn noise, it's really annoying and maybe someone of you can help me.
I turned always just the Systemsounds down in the soundmixer but that can't be the final solution.
Also the games begin to run less fluently and a little bit laggy when this occurs.

And I hadn't those problems in Vista on the same machine

    My Specs:

    ASUS G1S

    Win 7 Professional 64Bit
    Core 2 Duo 2,2 Ghz
    4GB RAM
    GeForce 8600M GT

    Hi Vampirlord,

    Welcome to the forums.

You can disable the beep in windows device manager.

Open 'Device Manager' and go to the view menu and turn on 'show hidden devices'

Then right click on Beep and disable it
