    plz help i am stuck i the middle of the game it says

    Try this
    1. Right click on the CoD Icon and select properties.
    2. Click on the tab "Compatibility"
    3. Put a check in the box next to "Run this program in compatibility mode for:"
    4. Click on the pop down box thing under it and select "Windows XP (Service Pack 3)"
    5. Click apply
    Thats for the retail version

    Retail version = got it from the shop
    Steam version = you bought it off steam store ( store.steampowered.com )

    Hi,

    I have the same problem but I have another problem...
    I don't have Windows XP Service pack 3 at my compatibility section!!!
    Please help!!! I would love to play this game :)

    And I have windows Vista, and I just noticed that this is a Windows Seven forum :P
    But can you help me still?

    hi, i have the same error that Aravintharajan but it seems like i have CoD "steam version" because it didn't work the trick in Compability options.. :S i was in the middle of the game and now it crashes always... solutions? thanks from uruguay :)

    Even with the steam edition you can still go to the folder holding the codsp.exe and change the compability mode for it.
