    Battlefield 2


    So i just installed BF 2 and updated to 1.5 and when I try to start the game up i see my mouse flicker twice and then it goes back to desktop. Ive tried compatability and admin and everything. Any help would be awesome

    Hi guitardude2456,

    Could you please fill out your system specs? It will be a lot easier for us to help you that way. At the top of any page on this website, click 'User CP', then on the left hand side click 'Edit System Spec'. Let us know when you have that all filled out as best you can. The more information the better.

    Download and run the 1.41 patch then re-run the 1.5 patch.
    That is what I had to do on my setup.

    If that fails, uninstall the game completely, then install game, run 1.41, then run 1.5.

    I am using bootcamp on a macbook pro

    i have Nvidia 9300M
    intel 2.5 ghz dual core
    4 gigs ram

    Never had a mac, but I doubt Boot Camp is meant for gaming.

    it worked by installing the 1.41 and then installing the 1.5 lets just hope that I dont have punkbuster problems

    and yeah playing with a mac is actually not half bad

    Fuzzi0n, at home I run Windows XP SP2 under Boot Camp and it runs all my games without a hitch! I know they're still working out some of the kinks with Windows 7 in Boot Camp, though.
