    Fifa 09 Graphics Error

Hi everyone. Has anybody come across this before whilst playing Fifa 09. It has only happened to me on windows 7 (7000, 7057 and 7068). It played fine on vista and xp. The screen shots are not very good but basically what is happening is all the players look as if they are on a cross with arms out wide and parallel to the ground. Their feet are also stuck together. Anybody any ideas besides changing driver. I don't think it's that as it has happened in three different builds now, which all have different drivers anyway. Do you have Fifa 09 running on Win 7? Any input would be greatly received. Thanks.

Hi,RST101, Is that the England strip?,if it is, I was just thinking ,we all have our crosses to bear. Definitely looks like driver issue to me.

lol, its actually Everton. I was playing against them as I'm a Liverpool fan and just love to kick there arses in the local derby. It is also updated to the latest. I'm just wondering if anyone who has this game has it running properly with the same driver 1.8171 before I start fannying about with it. All my other games work flawlessly, gta iv, crysis 1+2, undercover, far cry 2, pes 2009, call of duty 4+5, assassins creed, grid etc etc. Thanks for reply anyhow.

Have you tried compatibility mode for XP or Vista, do you have your DirectX and all your drivers up to date and have you got any Overclocks on the CPU, RAM or GPU?

All dx and drivers up to date and no overclocks.

Do you know where I can obtain the 178 driver for x64 because after trying several other games they wont play. Need for speed Undercover and need for speed pro street and I know for certain they worked with the 178 driver from the previous builds. I've google them but can only find mobile versions.

    Update to problem. Problem solved

Right click sound icon and choose playback devices. Click on sound properties and go to advanced. There you can change the audio sampling rate. Choose a different one to the one it is set to now. Hey Presto!

for future reference, you might ALSO want to install the drivers from your graphic CARD manufacturer (as opposed to GPU). the same thing happened on my system and after much tweaking and several system restorations, i finally installed old drivers from the CD that came with my graphics card and THAT did the trick!
