I actually just started playing through HL2. Excellent game even though older.

Portal is a lot fun as well The only downside and complaint I have about it is that it's just too short.

** Been Playing The Guild 2:Renaissance some lately.

Doesnt need a very high end setup to run well.

The game is actually quite good, if you like strategy games, somewhat similar to the Settlers.

You run your own buisnesses, start a family, lots of management, different classes, You can even take people to court etc and have hearings :)

The game isn't without problems however.
    1) It can be quite buggy in certain areas of gameplay, although there is supposed to be a patch soon to remedy all of it.

    2) The learning curve can be frustrating, as for some odd reason, the Devs didnt think a Tutorial or explaination was needed.
However, Tutorials and help can easily be found on the Steam official Forum for it to get you going.

    3) Graphics are Dated

Despite all of this, if you like these type of strategy games, I would still say its worth a look. Afterall, its only a $20 game. Ocasionally Steam will have a Special much cheaper on it.

Certainly not a game all will appreciate. Its slow moving, but enjoyable & addictive despite its bugs and dated graphics.

You could play Modern Warfare 2. Same engine. Same Frame rates. I also play a free to play MMPORG golf game if you like that stuff that is really good. Google Shot Online. It's not a hardware pig at all.
    I have to disagree.
MW2 is way better optimized then MW1.
For example, I hardly run MW1 on medium, but MW2 runs of very high with 60 fps.

Anyways, to stay on topic, all the Source games kinda run on every PC.
    You should try GTA:SA too.

SimCity4 Best City builder and runs quite nicely. Sadly has some problems with 7.
But if you can get it to run it soon becomes addictive.
    Great game indeed.

This is an internet based game. It has no graphics. It is all text based. But it is real in depth. I love it. It is called Cyber Nations. I play it all the time. Also if you do not want it will not take up much of your time. On the other hand if you want you could be a big player and have a lot of say in things. It has a lot to it. You can join an alliance there are many. They all talk things out i political ways. Everything is politics. It is very good. If you like this type of stuff. You can grow a nation but it take a long time. I have been playing for a year now and am only a little person still. I like it very much though. As soon as you join make sure to jump onto IRC. and ask questions. But be careful. I recommend talking to me first. I am name [TFD]williamson69[TFD] or williamson69[TFD]. This game is very interesting if you give it a try and let it be. make sure to talk to me before buying or spending any of your money. I will help you to get your nation running in tip top shape immediately.

Cyber Nations, An online nation simulation game

If you click this link and join and make it to a certain level I get a bonus. But I really do love this game. You have to play it though and join an alliance immediately or you will get raided by someone this means war will start and your nation will get destroyed trust me. If you would like you could even join my alliance it is a really good one everyone helps you. There are ones that are a lot bigger. You will have to choose for yourself. my alliance is The Foreign Division. The reason i love Cyber Nations is my alliance
