Half-Life 2, Counter-Strike: Source, Half-Life 2: DeathMatch, any of the Half-Life 2 mods, including Smod Tactical (pretty graphics intensive mod), Hitman: Blood Money if you turn down the effects a bit.
Like a few have said, Counter-Strike: Source is a great game and doesn't require too much of a rig. If you enjoy your 1.6, you should enjoy this even though it's a little different :)
Celeron? Give up. I don't know why anyone would consider them. The virtual lack of any cache hammers performance into the ground. Doom 95 will work though.
there's nothing i can about my processor, for now.
i was very glad when i found that i got a laptop as a gift, but turned me down when i saw what processor it has, i knew it was a very low one.
i've play CS:C before and it's fairly much alike with my CS right. i don't mind switching but ill stick with 1.6 for a while
Bigfishgames has every type of game for both PC and Mac. Each game indicates the details of what is needed to run the game.
My favorites are the hidden object games and the match three games.
They've already celebrated selling their one BILLIONTH game and each game is only $6.99. They have all sorts of special sales, too.
Try the older Splinter Cell Titles. (Original and Pandora Tomorrow, Chaos Theory) Deus Ex is always good. You could try Deus Ex Invisible War, Thief Deadly Shadows, NFS Most Wanted and Carbon, Half Life 2 (Original as well as Episodes I and II). Portal is always good. Max Payne and Max Payne 2 are good as well. I'm sure there are more but those are the ones that come to mind currently.
I still play 'Soldier of Fortune 2' even 8yrs after its release. Be warned though, multiplayer is just full of Hackers, mind you so are a lot of PC games!!
SimCity4 Best City builder and runs quite nicely. Sadly has some problems with 7.
But if you can get it to run it soon becomes addictive.
