Anyway while the puzzles got more elaborate as the levels progressed I did think they were a little easy to solve, though I did have YouTube one area:
Overall they were pretty easy. Although I did have late night brain farts in two areas and looked to youtube for a hint and subsequently slapped myself for not thinking of it.

Outside of the puzzles, my favourite area hands down was the turret testing. Some of those reject comments were hilarious.

I'd love to be able to extract the turret sound files and use them for windows sound events.

Though I had a YouTube moment overall I thought the game was easier than Portal 1, which did get frustrating at times.

I also read something somewhere where Valve said they wanted to game to be a little easier. They said they did some research and found a lot of people didn't finish Portal 1 because of one area that was frustratingly challenging.

I think I know the area they were talking about - a high jump area where creating portals was near impossible because of location and height. It was near the end. If it's the one area I'm thinking of, yeah, it nearly drove me to quit. Luckily I figured it out..... after about 50 tries (no YouTube ) and finished the game.

Compared to that, Portal 2 is easy

Well, I beat it. Great jokes, decent story, didn't take me long enough.

Hmmm.... I don't have the patience to be extracting sound effect files, way too many of them me. Although the only files I ever extracted where the music files from Borderlands.

Yeah according to my achievement page it only took me 19.2 hours to complete the game

    Seemed longer than that.

Once you find the ones you want, it doesn't take long to extract. Finding them is the time consuming part.

But there are so many good samples, it's worth it.

Exactly. But if you want them bad enough, I suppose it's worth the time.

    Anyway good luck.

Yup, Portal 2 is awesome. Haven't played it on computer yet but on XBox 360, it's really, really good.
