    F.E.A.R. Combat Has Stopped Working

I downloaded the game only to see the dreaded "____ Has stopped working" message. I updated my gfx card driver after install. I ran in administrator mode, disabled UAC and ran in windows xp compatibility, still doesnt work I am running windows 7 x64. Any suggestions on how to make this game work would be greatly appreciated:)

Have you tried installing from a different website?
and have you made sure that the drivers you installed were the correct ones? and when you installed them you uninstalled your previous ones before installing the new ones?
