Is there any way to reset Games Explorer?

Does anyone know anyway to clear out games explorer completely in Windows 7? I have a game that is in there twice and it will not allow me to right-click on it to even hide it. I have went into regedit and only about half of my games show in the GameUx\Games key, the one i want to delete does not show.

It was a steam game and even uninstalling it does not remove the un-clickable game from games explorer.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi Boom

There is actually a tutorial on this website
Games Explorer Folder - Delete a Game

    I hope that helps you.

Actually, i have tried the tutorial. I am talking about clearing the games explorer completely since the game I am talking about doesn't even show in regedit. Since this is a steam game maybe that's why it doesn't show up.

To reset Games on Windows 7 the Disk Cleaner doesn't work. The following works:
C:/User/User Name/AppData/Local/Microsoft Games then delete folders to games you wish to reset.

Note: AppData is a hidden folders so you must type the path or else set computer to view hidden folders and names.

I have no help... just like to add that I hate the way Windows 7 controls my games... I like to have a shortcut on my desktop and there are some games that I have problems doing something as simple as that!

Why can't microsoft leave well enough alone when they sell a new operating system?

This is exactly my beef with features I don't like: inconsistency. I have games which appear in the Games Folder, as well as those that don't. Things are made even worse by not allowing you to manually edit the list of games either. This is puzzling especially when you try to factor in considerations like parental controls.

I'd throw out the Games Explorer entirely if I didn't want to keep Freecell around, ugh.
