compatablity help

does games play better in different different compatibility settings in win 7

i think it depends on the game

if it's before 2008 is it better comptable with xp and if it's after 2008 is better competle with win7

i need to know how come any game i try to start it takes a while to start

well it depnds on the game liek i said if it doesn't say compatable with Vista/Win 7 then it will take a while cos it will have to do some stuff that will make it run on win 7,i persoanlyl play a few old games Star Wars KOTOR II is a perfect example, that takes a while to load works but not properly

it says it is compable with vista but not win 7 but isn't win7 like vista

yea it is, whats the game, might be able to help (don't hold out much hope though)
