Maple Story causes Windows 7 to blue screen *sometimes*

I'm a Window7 ultimate user. Everytime i try to run the game, such as online game. The system always show me that, my game is incompatible with the version of the window. If I run the program, my comp will turn into bluescreen and restart automatically. I'm clean install window7. I would like to ask about the problem and solution.

    TQ

What game are you speaking of?

If you're having bluescreens, you should follow this tutorial.

If your game says it's incompatible w/ your version of windows it probably is. You can try running it in compatibility mode.

Right Click Shortcut > Properties > Compatibility Tab > Check to run in compatibility mode, Choose XP or Vista, whichever it ran best in.

You can also download Windows XP Mode, since you have ultimate. It's basically a virtual operating system within Windows 7 that allows you to use Windows XP software without hassle.

    Download Windows XP Mode

about the blue screen. when i open the folder, try to open the content, it's say i does not have privileges to acess.

about the compatibility, i try all the compatibility, its still dont work

the xp mode is not applicable to my computer.

    Been here yet,

Nexon Forums - FIXES FOR MULTIPLE PROBLEMS

Also from what I can see the game uses HackShield now and not GameGuard, you sure your game is up to date?

OK, in your first post, you say it causes a Blue Screen error, but now you say it sometimes works.

Can you be more specific? Is this causing your computer's OS to crash, all the time, or just sometimes? Or is it just causing Maple Story to crash all th time, or just sometimes?
