Need for Speed Most Wanted Black Edition copy error

    Hi all,

I have Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit, and today I tried to install Need for Speed Most Wanted Black Edition on my laptop, but after 20 or so percent, I got a copy error. I have successfully installed this game on Windows 7 before, and I don't know why it isn't working now. I've tried reinstalling 7 with no luck. I have an ASUS UL20A-A1 (Amazon.com: ASUS UL20A-A1 Thin and Light 12.1-Inch Silver Laptop - 7.5 Hours of Battery Life (Windows 7 Home Premium): Electronics) with this external drive (Amazon.com: ASUS USB 2.0 8x DVD Writer External Optical Drive SDRW-08D1S-U (Black): Electronics). I was wondering if there was any way to fix this copy error, if you want I can post a screenshot of the error message.

    Thanks,

    -McDougal

Sorry for the late reply, I am very busy today. I have the installer from the 4 DVD game discs that I got for my birthday a while ago.

    Hi all,

I know this post is old, but I am still unable to install this game. I thought that maybe I could copy the contents of the 4 dvds onto my hard drive and install it without using the cd drive, but I don't know how I would do that. Does anybody know how to copy the contents onto a hard drive so the game can be installed from the hard drive? Or is there another way to fix this copy error?

    Thanks!
