    Zune HD: First Doom, now...

Game Boy/Game Boy Color emulator!! Woohoo.

VisualBoy Zune brings Game Boy emulation to Zune HD

The deploy package comes with three legal roms for testing. I've deployed it to my Zune HD and it works fantastic. The controls are much better than Doom, and it runs very smooth, thanks to the Tegra chip.

Now I have plenty of entertainment for that long flight tomorrow.

Slightly off-topic, but how is the Zune software , compared to Mediamonkey, Winamp, WMP, iTunes, etc.?

I think the Zune HD is a pretty piece of hardware....I couldn't get one unless they added a customizable EQ though.

The Zune software is really nice actually. Even if I didn't have a Zune, I would use it as my main music player...the UI is spectacular, just like the ZuneHD itself. You can download the software and give it a shot for yourself. :)

I've been looking at some Zune HDs as a next MP3 player. Had my current one for 4 years now, so wouldn't mind getting a new one when I can spare the money.

Well, they just released the 64GB model, although I can't seem to find it in any of the brick and mortar stores, so the price dropped on the 16 and 32GB models. Besides...it doesn't have an "i" in the front of it, so you can actually tweak it a bit with free third party apps...the gameboy emulator, Doom, ebook readers etc.
