    Default Windows 7 Games disappeared..

Hi, I dont see any inbuilt windows 7 games in Games folder. All I see is Myst 4 which I had installed in the past. Also, when I search for any game (Ex. Solitaire). It doesnt open it. I have also checked in C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Games folder. It just shows that shortcut of all the games but not the original files.

    What are my options?

    Go to...

Control Panel->Programs->Turn Windows Features on or off

A pop-up will appear. Wait for it to populate, and you should see a games folder. You can check mark the games you want and hit OK and they'll install.

Hello Bill, thanks for the reply. I have already checked this options and all games are turned on by default.

In that case, uncheck the games and complete the prompt windows. Windows will uninstall the games. Once done, follow the same process and check mark the Games.

Simple windows logic, un-install and re-install.

    Oooh... Try this:

    In elevated CMD, type:

    Start /wait ocsetup InboxGames

This will take a while to complete, then return you to the command prompt. There'll be no message.

If the above doesnt work, run sfc /scannow.

If sfc is not able to repair, then I suppose Repair install will be the only option left.
