    Yes but it is not CLEAN, you have to install a bunch of other stuff to run it and get SPAM emails. Just and FYI.

    i've gamed JUST CAUSE 2 and currently playing SPLINTER CELL CONVICTION

    Steam isn't a "bunch" of other stuff, and I've never gotten spam from valve...

    No because i've used steam for a few years now so it was already installed :)

    Never gotten one spam or any junk with it.

    This is kinda wrong... Not my intention to flame you, but this statement is simply not true. The ONLY time I ever get emails from Valve/Steam is when I purchase a game--and the email is a summary of the transaction.

    Also, the only thing you have to install is Steam.

    Peaple [try] make a big deal out of this but look at it as "the game's DRM." You wanna play the game, install Steam. And what you get is no license key to input, no disc to get scratched or lost, and no updates to download--the Steam application takes care of ALL of that for you.

    And, the Steam application by itself hardly uses any resources:

    (Resources used: 12,028K)

    Come on... If you don't know about something, you don't need to put it down as if it's malware!
