No uninstall option for Bad Company 2

There is no uninstall option for BC2 in either Windows uninstaller or Revo uninstaller. I purchased the game from EA.com via download. I tried to reinstall it but the EA download manager has no option for uninstall, it just launches the game without an option for reinstalling or uninstalling. I tried using the uninstall file in the BC2 directory and all it does is load up a command like black window that automatically closes after 1 second.

What can I do to uninstall this game?

There's no option for you to uninstall it through Add/Remove programs in the Control Panel? Have you tried uninstalling the EA download through the Add/Remove programs?

run the installer file as admin

after install,go to Program Files folder>Windows Installer Cleanup> find the "msicuu.exe" file in the folder>right click on the msicuu.exe file set the compatibility to vista. Also tick run as admin box

As far as I'm aware uninstalling EA Download Manager (horrible distributor) will scrub the games too.

yeah mate you have to uninstall it though EA download manager go into start / all programs / electronic arts / ea download manager and run it from there , that should just open the manager and not the game ( , i had BF2142 purchased via that horrible bloody app i cant rememebr exactly how you do it but it must have been easy if i managed it :P

it will uninstall the game BUT it will not delete the downloaded content , that will still be there to reinstall if you want too , you can delete that too if you want a quick google will tell you where EA downloader puts its install files

I've never had a problem myself. Brownie points for Steam, but then I am the same guy who like GFWL when seemingly everybody else hates it. (the platform not their on demand)

ive never had a driver either ATI or NVidia work properly with DLC , that said apparently the new 257.15 NV driver is getting good reports , but as its mainly targeting the Fermi cards there isnt any improvement for any older marques

I got the 2142 expansion pack through the EA downloader, it's content was in that folder, not the game's and not Steam's.

Granted, the memory is a bit fuzzy here.
