Opening game in second monitor

Alright, so I have a dual monitor set up and like to play games on my 22" HD monitor for obvious reasons. However, whenever I open a full screen game up it opens on the primary monitor. For other reasons, I like to keep my worse monitor primary and I have to constantly re-adjust the screens to play games on the better screen.

Does anyone know how to open up a game on my secondary monitor?

Thanks.

Another option is to switch the monitor cables, some video cards just really prefer one outlet for the primary monitor.

But one is HDMI output and the other is VGA, so I can't do that :/

Realtime Soft UltraMon

This program allows you to change the primary monitor on the fly as well as select what apps/games open on each screen.

I take it the HDMI output is seen as the primary then? I mean, that would make sense - besides the fact that it isn't what you want :P

Indeed, then as Zepher suggests, a multi monitor management application is the way to go. Here's a good comparison between a few possible tools:

What is the other reason for keeping the worse monitor as primary? I forgot to ask this previously.

I have no idea why they listed Windows 7 as a tool for multi-monitors.
I've been using multi-screens back with Windows 2000 and Windows 7 does it the same way.
They also list it as starting out at $70. The cheapest non OEM is $90 for the Home Premium Upgrade and you will still want one of the multi monitor apps.

Display fusion looks pretty good since it does Aero peek on the other taskbars, Ultramon doesn't.

Well I like to enjoy high def films on my computer, but I like to be able to use my computer at the same time so I just keep my primary monitor as the worse screen.

Otherwise thanks for the software but I need something free, can't waste valuable money on this.

Oh also, I use my HD monitor for the PS3, I'm regularly switching, so it's useful just to keep the primary as the shitty monitor
