Windows 7: hard space requirements

hard space requirements

in DEMIGOD he say for minium requirements it takes up 8 gb but when i got to it's folder it says the folder it only 2.98gb in size any reason for this

It says "up to" 8 gigs, in this case it took lees. I have the feeling you are asking something else but am unsure.

Please describe the problem better

Windows 7 Enterprise X64

before installation did u tick all the boxes? because if u didnt, it didnt install everything (loads items from DVD?)

not sure what im talking about but hey, atleast i can talk (write )

it seems to have only installed 2.98 gb on computer be in minium requirements it says 8gb free hard space it is a game

Recommended System Requirements:
  • 3 GHz Processor (Multicore Supported)
  • 1 GB Available System Memory
  • 256 MB 3D Video Card (ATI Radeon 2600 / Nvidia GeForce 7600 or better)

All that means is that you have to have at least 8gig of free space on your hard drive. It doesn't mean the game will install 8gig of files, just that your hard drive have at least 8gig of free space.

All games have a minimum hard rive "free" space requirements. You're good.

running out of hard drive space. 67.5GB unknown CAB file wasted space
My solid state drive is half full of with and unknown CAB file (see attached WinDirStat report. I'm running out of space. I've disabled imaging and everything else that I can find to disable and have all data on my D drive which is setup with 2 drives 1 TB each for a total storage space of 1 TB....

I was looking at the minimum specs for W7 RC1 x64 and it says 20GB HDD. But I wonder if the final release will use more than that after updates installed. Also, what does Vista x64 usually use with all updates installed? I ask this because I'm thinking of getting an X25-E 32GB (all 32GB is usable)...
