Yes, I did. After I did I tried formatting it or whatever, and that's the error I got.

Dimension 4400 does not have sata so try installing into the unallocated space and if the problem still exits it may be the "Reinstallation CD".

Well unless the installation would fail because the space (which I wasn't even given a chance to pick yet) wasn't unallocated, then I guess it's the CD.

So... I guess I'm just out of luck then.
