    Force Games to full Screen?

    Hi,
Whenever I play a game (usually the old ones) it's maximum screen resolution is 1024 x 768. My screen resolution is 1280 x 800. So when I play the game there is a black patch on the left and right of the screen, how do I stretch the game or force it to run in 1280 x 800?

it's a bit like sticking a square peg into a round hole, or rather a tall rectangle into a fat one.

it all depends on the game: with some of them you can add additional parameters into the shortcut, or adjust in the game options menu.

    Have you already tried this?

Create a shortcut for the game executable file. Right click on the shortcut, select "Properties", click on "Shortcut" tab, then select "maximized" in the "Run" drop-down menu. Click Apply, OK.

Now launch the game from the shortcut.
