Windows 7 64-bit
Disabling hardware T&L fixed it!

Thank you Asadiq! Switching to "Direct3D HAL" does indeed make Falcon 4.0 Allied Force work perfectly in Windows 7 64-bit.

Windows 7 64-bit

I just wanted to add another note here.

Falcon 4.0 Allied Force works fine under Windows 7 when set to "Direct3D HAL" (without T&L), but it appears the framerate gets quite a bit lower whenever the HUD is visible on-screen, especially in 3D cockpit view. It's still playable, but it feels a bit choppy. Looking away from the HUD makes the framerate soar, especially if you have none of the cockpit on screen.

I don't know whether this is just a Windows 7 problem, or whether it is specifically related to the lack of hardware T&L in the mode required to run F4AF in Windows 7.

Windows 7 RC1 7100 64-bit

I am still having issue with the UI. After hitting Fly the game runs at full glory in HD resolution. the problem arise when I exit the flight or stay too long in the UI. I constantly get resolution warning in the Monitor OSD message, and if i stay in UI for more than a minute the screen goes blank, and thats the end.

Any solution to what i am seeing.

I am using Samsung 2233SW LCD HD monitor, with native res of 1920x1080

This would be my favorite game, except that it has some quirks that are extremely distracting and annoying, being that the screen often blacks out for a moment, exactly when one needs to see it most, and sometimes it acts as if the mouse button was stuck, and the character continues wildly moving...
