I think it depends where you're from. They haven't anounced when beta testing will start yet but when it does it will unfold in phases with North America, Australia and New Zealand being included first.

I think Europe is included in the next phase but I can't remember where I heard that. So if you're from the EU you might have longer but I think you've probably got a bit of time either way.

If there's anything else you want to know take a look at the official FAQ: StarCraft II .

Just signed up for the starcraft 2 beta opt-in. I had to send them my pc specs though. Does anyone think that having the Windows 7 RC rather than a full release OS will lessen my chances?... Not sure
....Here's a better question. Now that I've got the 7127 build which isn't a general release build will that hinder or increase my chances (less competition ha ha)

How did you even get this to work? I'm on RC x64 and I cannot get my system info to send to them. I keep getting a "There was a problem sending your system information to Battle.net" error and it kicks me into their FAQ.

I've tried running as admin, turning off WinFirewall, running in WinXP SP3 compatibility mode etc., nothing is working.

I contacted Blizz support and they're like "Win 7 is still in beta - we don't support it or issues involved with it"....kthx
