    StarCraft 2 beta

Just signed up for the starcraft 2 beta opt-in. I had to send them my pc specs though. Does anyone think that having the Windows 7 RC rather than a full release OS will lessen my chances?... Not sure

Probably not, I mean they are going to want to test it on win7 as well. But thanks for reminding me about the opt-in, now I will sign up too. Which will slightly lessen your chances. teeheee!

To be truthful I think they would be crazy not to test Windows 7 with it.
Once Microsoft releases the OS to the public it will be everywhere and if they want to sell it they will try to have the major bugs squashed before it gets out there.
Hey its software its going to have bugs, if you can name one piece of software that did not have a bug or error in it then a god wrote that code.

Here you go: Welcome to Battle.net. You have to sign up for an account then look for the link on your account page to opt-in for the beta.

You have to register at least one valid cd-key for a blizzard game on your account to be eligible.

    Good Luck

Yeah you go to their battle.net site and sign up for an account (free). You then put in one of your cd keys from a blizzard game you own. I don't think it has to be Starcraft just any game. There will then be a link available to opt in, where you donwload a little program to test your system specs.

edit: oops, dannet got there before me.

cool, thanks. I can't get into the site from work so I'll do it later tonight at home. Thanks. Is just a standard email and name form? Or will I HAVE to send in my comp specs?

Once you have a battle.net account with a Blizzard game associated to it, you can go to the beta opt-in page. On that page it will make you download a program that checks your system specs and reports them back to battle.net to be associated with your profile.

Just realised you can opt-in for testing in Diablo and Warcraft games too!

    Diablo III ... eventually

I tried this site but for some reason it's down. I had a search on google and Welcome to Battle.net or http://us.battle.net work for EU and US players respectively. Not sure why ...
