call of duty games are wack now. To many cheaters, just sit around camp. To aggrivating.
They will have dedicated servers. What Brian said above is sooooo true for MW2, I am hoping Black Ops will be a refreshing change...but I am not holding my breath.
I too have lost interest in Call of Duty games. I played a ton of CoD4. Played a fair amount of World at War. Bought Modern Warfare 2 and have played about 2 hours in single player and never online. At this point, not even sure I plan to get Black Ops.
Call of duty tends to be a frustrating and competitive game for me no matter when I tell myself don't look at the ratio's play for fun my anger just beats that, its overly frustrating. But it keeps my addicted I can't wait I pre-ordered mine waiting for the special edition to come out!
come on black ops if dedi server !They will control the cheats and plus make mods like world of war for free lets hope!I am peeed with the charging for extra maps as this was free on cod4 and world at war.
But know this the makers of black ops done world at war !and with them and plus the new destructable buildings and objects ,This will be prob the best in series so far.
Then i can finally uninstall modern warefare 2 for ever .............
From an SP Campaigner, It pains me to see how more and more the devs are catering to the console masses and by this I mean the kids (17 and under), which translated, it means, give me "run & gun", make me look for stuff to buy better weapons and accessories for it instead of working hard to program a better ai and a longer/better Campaign.
But, on the other hand, I rather play CoD games than sucumb to the forever unoptimized and bad console ports that we get from Ubisoft games. When I see the marketing gurus wasting 10 million dollars on a live scene of a game that will not pass more than 2 months and 3 patches before they stop support, instead of paying the programmers to do a better job with the game and the porting for PC... it pains me deeply.
Now, being said that, I won't pre-order or support anybody until I see a demo of the game and I am satisfied that the game will at least give me a few good hours of play.
