    Just something more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    DONT EVER FORGET to make a backup of the preinstalled acer software before yu do the clean install of W7, generally is located in a folder called OEM in the root drive... with that, you can reinstall any acer software if you need it (I don't think so, but is always good to do that)

    THANKS for the advise!

    After 12+ hours doing image backups, I tried an upgrade this morning - Failed at the very end & rolled back to Vista. Seems I didn't pay enough attention to some issues that were clearly stated by MS advisor.

    +1... Backup nad clean install is the best for this.

Hi All, I am trying to upgrade my laptop to Windows 7 from Vista. All the editions are compatible, but when it gets to the "Select device driver...", there is NO drivers to be selected at all. Any help or direction, greatly appreciated. Thanks Dean
hello i have just bought an Acer Aspire laptop with Vista and i would like to install Windows 7 ultimate 64 bit i put the dvd in drive and tried hitting f11 and f10 but it just carries on going to vista,does anyone know how i can boot from dvd please? thank you.
