How to display logon screen in one click?

I really need to keep away the kids from my computer, so I decided to display the logon screen after 1 minute.

however, 1 minute is also quite a long time so i really need to wait for 1 minute until the screen displays the logon screen.

are there any ways to display the logon screen in one click so that it displays directly without waiting?

or should I install any program or tweaker?

*I previously installed Matrix Screen Locker, but the programs keeps on accelerating my computer..

Really need advice for this. thx

Hi elhaha1001 and welcome to Windows 7 Forums

I would forget about trying to use the screensaver for this. Instead, use the keyboard shortcut of Win + L (this is also known as the Start button and sometimes has the windows flag emblem on it) to activate the logon screen when you want to. This is pretty well instantaneous.

    Yes, it applies to XP.

Here are some handy links for this in XP, Vista, and Windows 7.

Another option is to put a "Lock Workstation" shortcut on your desktop. I just creat a shortcut with the target value (path) of:
    C:\Windows\System32\rundll32.exe User32.dll,LockWorkStation
Works for XP and windows 7, one click if you pin it to your taskbar.

Win + L is the easiest! Or Start menu > lock would work. :)
