Absolutely no problem Petey. I've been around for far to long to get offended easily. I'm just a bit pedandic, if not very much so, and if a part of the profile asks for system specs then to me it is reasonable to expect anyone seeking help to do their bit and at least give the right details. Perhpas you should, at your age be on the decaf coffee. It really is much better for you. If I have caffeine I tend to fly round the picture rail (ask for explanation of picture rail if you need it)

I rarely drink it these days. I just had some this morning because of the lack of sleep. I'm helping one guy who wrote 123 as his OS. What are you supposed to do with that?

Your system specs do still say you have XP. Just look below your name on your posts and you can see it, so he does have a point.

Its not in there, but every other thing you could possibly change is. What you asking for is only in Pro and ultimate.
I wanna modify " Always open all Control Panel Items when opening Control Panel"
and the taskbar thumbnail preview ( disable,if possible )
do you want to hide the open programs in the taskbar?

this might help , its a third part app though

Hide / Disappear Taskbar Items In Windows 7, Vista and XP With Taskbar Eliminator

edit , scrub that it just eliminates the whole taskbar not just the running program list

But I haven't the time to keep going back over a topic to find details that should be available on every post in the Specs. When it just says Windows XP in a Windows 7 Forum that's not much help is it?
Did i say XP ?
Stero, look in the lower left of one of your posts and click where it says "My System Specs". There you will see OS XP. This is what Mitchell was talking about. Please fill out your system information. Go to your User CP at the top of the page, look in the left column and click on Edit system specs. Filling in your specs will help us help you.

You can make this easier by downloading Speccy

That's called Aero Peek. It is a useful feature (to me atleast) to preview a window. It becomes more helpful the more you have open. If you must disable it, here's a link:

I recommend the built-in Windows Backup. It works great for me.
