    Languages

just bought a new desktop here in France where I live, I now find that I cannot change the default language from French to my native English with out paying to upgrade from premium to ultamate, is this fair? who these days would sell something where you cannot set it up to use as you wish.
Why when people live all over the world and English is universal does this happen.
Cannot at least, Microsoft find some way of allowing a new language to be added in these case's?
Now I really know why I use Linux as a default O/S at least I can work in the Language of my choice.

To change the display language on the fly you need Ultimate or Enterprise but can't you just download and install the English language pack to switch to English for every day use.

Install or change a display language

It says "Applies to all editions of Windows 7" on that page?
